The spectacle included floats with the traditional snowmen, reindeer, Santa Claus and other Christmas images but many took their creativity to the next level.

In each round, three bachelors vied to be the bachelorette’s top pick as she posed romance-minded questions from behind a partition, unable to see them.
The Dec. 31 New Year’s Eve Star Lighting Celebration will feature concerts and events for all ages thanks to a partnership between the city, the Downtown Revitalization Committee and several other partners.
This year’s celebration schedule, starting at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 13 with an ugly sweater contest and running through Sunday, Dec. 15, is packed with events and offerings for everyone.
This year’s fundraising total came in at $172,555, the second highest total since the festival’s beginnings.
Over 20 cars parked along Main Street, with dozens standing outside as the small but festive lineup of 16 floats made its way down the street.
The parade will start at 4:30 p.m. and travel Main Street from the intersection with Forest Avenue to the traffic light at Presque Isle Street.
