The one-hour class, held every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 9:30 a.m., has been in session since 1998. The age of the participants present on Halloween ranged from 65 to 87, and all said they had a great time and participated in order to remain healthy.
“You’ve got to keep moving,” 80-year-old Donna Small, incognito as Little Bo Peep on that day, advised. “It keeps your circulation going.”
Instructor Anna Blackstone commented what a great class it was and advised that they have a lot of regulars, mostly seniors.
“We’d like to have more,” Blackstone said. “We have an awesome time!”
The exercise class is touted as being for diabetics, but Blackstone advises they can accommodate anyone who wishes to join.
