WOODLAND — Cindy Lou Brown, 49, died March 2, 2012. She was born at Kent County, RI, May 4, 1962, the daughter of Earl and Roberta (Doughty) Sherman. Cindy was a loving and devoted wife and mother to her family. She was an eccentric, outward person who had her own unique individual style and she will be greatly missed by all. She was married to Preston Brown Sr.
Surviving in addition to her husband of Woodland and her mother, Roberta of Woodland are one son, Preston Brown Jr. and his fiancée, Janelle Leavitt and her son, Blake all of Woodland; one daughter, Becky Brown of Woodland; five brothers, Earl Sherman of Wildwood, FLA, Cecil Gilliam of Topsham, Leonard and Willis Gilliam both of Caribou and Michael Gilliam of Woodland; three sisters, Paula Sherman and Harriette Brown both of Woodland and Sandra Skidgel of Washburn; her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Freddie and Phyllis Brown of Woodland.
Friends called at the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir St., Caribou, 6-8 p.m., Friday. Funeral services were held 1 p.m. Saturday at the First Baptist Church of Woodland, with the Rev.
