Christopher Albert, 15, from Bradford, took down this 15-point bull moose Sept. 29, at 7 a.m. on the  Bouchard Road in St. Agatha. Albert, hunting with his father Mike and accompanied by his uncle Roland Albert, had been searching for his trophy for four days. “We’ve seen plenty of partridge but until today we hadn’t seen any moose. This morning we came across a cow (moose), a young bull and finally saw this one,” Albert said. It only took one shot from a distance of 250 yards to bring down the 727-pound bull whose rack measured 34 and one-half inches across. The moose was tagged, weighed and measured at NorthStar Variety in New Sweden.
