    Michaud, Donald A., 83, June 8, 2012.  Interment to be held in the St. Francis Cemetery, Waterville.
    MAPLETON – Mapleton  Donald A. Michaud, 83, died peacefully in the presence of family on June 8, 2012. He was born in Frenchville on November 3, 1928, son of the late Wilfrid and Delina (Caron) Michaud. He married Patricia A. King on July 1, 1952.
      Donald was a self-employed contractor and the co-owner of Star City IGA for many years. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years; four children, Mary Wilcox and her husband David of Connecticut, Lottie Michaud of Mapleton, Steven Michaud of Connecticut and Rick Michaud and his wife, Cindy of Linneus. He was very proud of his four grandchildren, Matthew Bouchard, Michael Michaud, Amy Langley and Jessica Michaud and his five great grand-children. He is also survived by  one brother, Bobby Michaud; three sisters, Juliette Potelle, Bernadette Peters and Yvette Dubois and several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents and two sisters and a brother.
    A memorial service was held Monday, June 11 at 6 p.m. at the Wesleyan Church in Presque Isle. A graveside service will be held at the St. Francis Cemetery in Waterville on Saturday, June 23, 2012 at 11 a.m.
