Friends of St. Francis visit Augusta

Senate President Troy Jackson, D-Allagash, recently welcomed Linda Deprey, Myra Pelletier and Cindy Jandreau of the Friends of St. Francis to his office in Augusta. Friends of St. Francis earned a Spirit of America Award, which honors organizations providing community service and volunteerism.

“These women have been friends of mine for many years, and I know firsthand how hard they work to provide meaningful and special support not just to St. Francis but to the surrounding area,” Jackson said Pres. Jackson. “They host meals, support families going through hard times, and plan events that really uplift the whole community.”
