The County Federal Credit Union promotes new assistant vice president of information technology

PRESQUE ISLE , Maine – The County Federal Credit Union is pleased to announce they have recently promoted Jacob Kinney to assistant vice president of information technology.

Kinney began his career with The County as a part-time teller while attending classes at the University of Maine at Presque Isle. After graduating with a degree in business administration with a concentration in information technology and project management, Kinney began working as an IT support technician for The County.

“I am excited to step into this role with the County,” said Kinney. “This position allows me to stay true to my local roots while continuing to pursue a career in information technology.”

Jake is a great example of an individual with a strong work ethic who is trying hard and, as a result, is being propelled upward in our organization. He will do a fantastic job in his new role and will lead the credit union’s technology department onto the next level.”

“This position will allow me to continue to serve our membership by providing them the efficiency and ease of access they have come to expect while continuously improving security and implementing the latest technology trends,” said Kinney.

Kinney and his fiancée, Elizabeth, live in central Aroostook.  

The County Federal Credit Union serves Aroostook, Penobscot, and Piscataquis counties with branches in Caribou, Presque Isle, Fort Fairfield, Mars Hill, Houlton, Howland, Old Town, and Bangor.
