County Republicans to caucus in Presque Isle

PRESQUE ISLE, Maine — The Aroostook County Republican Committee will hold their election year County-wide caucus from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Feb. 12, at the Presque Isle Inn & Convention Center. 

Cities, towns and plantations will each have their own caucuses to choose local officers and delegates to the state convention. 

City, town and plantation clerks will be available for the purpose of registering new Republican voters or enrolling as Republican those who are currently listed as unaffiliated. Any Democrat wishing to change enrollment to Republican must have done so at least 15 days prior to the caucus. 

All persons participating in city, town and plantation caucuses must be registered Republican voters.
