Maxine LaJoie of Team SuperFrog is a seven-year tree sponsor at St. Apollonia Dental Clinic’s Festival of Trees. Each year she and her friends and grandchildren display a large collection of newborn baby items with their tree, donated each year in loving memory of LaJoie’s husband,
Normand, also known as SuperFrog. This year’s festival will take place at a new location, the former Sears store at the Aroostook Centre Mall in Presque Isle. Hours are Friday, Dec. 3, from 3 to 8 p.m.; Saturday, Dec. 4, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.; and Sunday, Dec. 5, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. All proceeds benefit Aroostook County children who receive dental services at St. Apollonia Dental Clinic.
