Women’s conference to emphasize healing

VAN BUREN, Maine — The Healing Waters Women’s Conference 2021,  It’s Time To Heal, will take place in Van Buren on Friday, Oct. 8, and Saturday, Oct. 9.

This event will take place at 80 Main St. in Van Buren. Friday’s session will be from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Saturday’s schedule is from 9:30 a.m. to noon, with lunch provided, and from 1:30 to 4 p.m. There is no cost and all women are welcome.

“A new beginning awaits,” stated Angel Murchison, conference founder. “Many women carry inner hurts and this year we have Sylvie Sudduth joining us from RAM Ministries. She will share some of her life experiences as well as discuss issues of shame, guilt, condemnation, forgiveness and inner healing.”

Sudduth and her late husband traveled the world sharing the good news of Jesus Christ and bringing freedom to the hurting and wounded by dealing head-on with life issues, Murchison said. Sudduth continues to bring healing after her husband’s recent passing, and wants to see people set free from the bondages of sin, shame, sickness and self through the Lord’s healing power.

Murchison will share some of her story of overcoming the aftermath of abortion in her life. One of her favorite life verses is “Whom the son sets free is free indeed (John 8:36).”

“Many women hide this secret in their hearts and don’t want people to know. We provide a safe place for women to share their hurt and let God himself touch the broken places in their lives,” Murchison said.

In addition, Ayo Isaacs will once again co-host the event. She too is passionate about helping people, especially women, experience the fullness of freedom Christ died to give them. She has practiced as a medical doctor in England and Nigeria while pursing her faith.

Music will be provided by Kristin Theriault Ayotte and Pam Willette from Soteria Ministries.
