Police seek help identifying theft suspects

AROOSTOOK COUNTY, Maine — The Fort Kent Police Department in cooperation with the Maine State Police are asking the public’s help to identify a male and female who are suspects in connection with incidents of credit card fraud and theft at several businesses throughout Aroostook County. 

Still shots of surveillance video footage depict the male suspect entering a Fort Kent convenience store last week, where he allegedly purchased items with a debit card created from stolen account information.

Police believe the suspect, a caucasian male, is traveling in a black, late-model SUV, along with the female, also caucasian, who may be driving the vehicle.

The couple also allegedly used a fraudulent debit card to purchase items at Walmart and Marden’s in Presque Isle.
