HOULTON, Maine — Katahdin Trust Company is pleased to announce that Casey Gove, data security administrator, has received his CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst Certification.

The CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst Certification candidates are tested for their ability to detect and analyze indicators of malicious activity as well as the ability to respond to cyberattacks and threats that may arise.

“This certification only adds to Casey’s expertise here at our Bank,” said Andrew Putnam, vice president, chief information officer. “With the ever-changing world of technology, we continue to educate our staff to give our customers a peace of mind.”

Gove began his career at Katahdin Trust in 2019 as a technical support assistant and became a technical support specialist in 2020. In 2022 he was promoted to data security administrator which is his current role today.

The knowledge that Gove has gained through his studies will help him to continue to serve the bank in his current role and it displays the commitment that Katahdin Trust has to data security and mitigating cyber security threats.
