St. John Valley weather for March 8-14, 2023

3-Day Outlook: Wednesday, March 8-Friday, March 10

Warmer air is moving into the region as it circulates around a large low pressure southeast of the Maritimes that is drifting away from the region. Some scattered rain showers are possible this morning with a slight chance for some rain showers this afternoon with temperatures above freezing until tonight. North winds will be breezy with gusts in the 20-25 mph range across the area.

Cooler air moves into the region as high pressure gradually builds in from the northwest. Some weak disturbances continuing to circulate around the Atlantic low will bring a chance for some scattered snow showers Thursday and Thursday night.

Partly sunny skies Friday with gusty northwest winds continuing. A slight chance for morning snow showers gives way to mostly dry conditions for the afternoon and evening. Colder air moving in will allow overnight lows to dip into the teens Friday night.

Partly sunny and cool, dry conditions are expected Sunday with increasing cloudiness Monday as an area of low pressure is projected to affect the region; however, various forecast models vary with the track of this system, so uncertainty is currently high. Mostly cloudy skies with a chance for snow in the afternoon/evening are currently anticipated for Tuesday.
