St. John Valley weather for Dec. 7-13, 2022

3-Day Outlook: Wednesday-Friday

A weak cold front is expected to cross the area tonight. Southeast flow across the region will bring above normal temperatures and rain today into tonight. The front will move east and stall out Thursday with rain tapering to showers before ending as snow showers Thursday afternoon as colder air moves into the region. Gusty northwest winds will produce brisk conditions across the Valley by Thursday evening. Skies become partly cloudy Thursday night with overnight lows dropping into the teens.

Friday will feature partly cloudy to partly sunny skies as a trough moves across the region with some snow showers possible Friday afternoon into the overnight hours.

Today and Tonight

Cloudy with a 100 percent chance for rain. Rainfall totals in the half- to 3/4-inch range expected. Patchy fog possible. High around 43 degrees. Southeast wind 8-11 mph gusting to 21 mph.

Tonight, cloudy with a 100 percent chance for rainfall with totals in the 1/10th- to quarter-inch range expected. Patchy fog possible. Low near 34 degrees. South wind 4-5 mph shifting to the northwest overnight 4-9 mph. 

Thursday, Dec. 8

Mostly cloudy with a 30 percent chance for rain showers in the morning changing to snow showers before tapering off in the afternoon. High around 34 degrees. Northwest wind 11-12 mph gusting to 23 mph.

Thursday night, partly cloudy with a low near 18 degrees. Northwest wind 9-11 mph with gusts to 21 mph in the evening. 

Friday, Dec. 9

Partly cloudy in the morning then becoming partly sunny with a 20 percent chance for afternoon snow showers. High around 30 degrees. North wind 9-10 mph.

Friday night, mostly cloudy with a 30 percent chance for snow showers. Low near 17 degrees. North wind 8-14 mph. 

Days 4 to 7: Saturday-Tuesday

A trough of low pressure will move away Saturday morning with snow showers winding down by the afternoon. High pressure in northern Québec will bring partly cloudy skies and mostly dry conditions Saturday night through Tuesday with chillier temperatures for the Saint John Valley.

Mostly cloudy with a chance for snow showers in the morning then becoming partly cloudy with a slight chance for snow showers in the afternoon. High around 29 degrees. Northeast wind 0-7  mph.

Partly cloudy with a high near 29 degrees. Northeast wind 0-7 mph.
