Fort Kent Criminal Docket – February 2022

FORT KENT, Maine – The following cases were heard under the Aroostook Criminal Docket at the Fort Kent Courthouse during the month of February.

John H. Banks, 55, Eagle Lake: Oui (Alcohol), $500 fine, license suspended 150 days.

Gary M. Ketchen, 48, Fort Kent: Operating after habitual offender revocation, $500 fine, 30 days in jail.

Daniel A. Hood, 24, Van Buren: Domestic violence assault, dismissed; assault, $1,000 fine.

Daniel Gerrard Ouellet, 42, Canton: Operating a vehicle without a license/ restrictions, $500 fine, $2,888.17 restitution. 

Dakota R. Albert, 20, Madawaska: Operating while license suspended or revoked, dismissed.

Gary M. Ketchen, 48, Fort Kent: Violating condition of release, 48 hours in jail.

Nicole Muniz, 38, Van Buren: Assault, filed without costs.

Gary M. Ketchen, 48, Fort Kent: Operating after habitual offender revocation, $1,000 fine, 30 days in jail.

Joey J. Levesque, 28, Madawaska: Illegal possession of firearm, filed without costs.

Charles J. Taylor, 30, St. Agatha: Oui (Alcohol), $500 fine, 48 hours in jail, license suspended 150 days; endangering the welfare of a child, 48 hours in jail.

Brianna Thomas, 23, Wallagrass: Speeding 30-plus over the speed limit, $500 fine, license suspended 60 days; failing to stop for an officer, $400 fine; driving to endanger, $575 fine, license suspended 60 days; operating while license suspended or revoked, dismissed; attaching false plates, dismissed.

Brandon Peasley, 29, Morill: hunting or possession without permit, $1,000 fine, 72 hours in jail.

Timothy G. Peaslee, 56, Jefferson: Unlawful possession of wild animal or bird, $1,000 fine.

Allen Michael Dionne, 32, Madawaska: Failure to report motor vehicle accident, dismissed; criminal mischief, $300 fine, $300 restitution.

Richard Carmichael, 38, Fort Kent: Violating conditions of release, $150 fine.

Justin L. Steggall, 26, Van Buren: Eluding an officer, three years in prison, all but nine months one day suspended, two years probation; $9,000 restitution; operating after habitual offender revocation, $1,000 fine; six months in jail; driving to endanger, $375 fine, license suspended 30 days; refusing to submit arrest, refusing to stop, 30 days in jail.

Courtney Chamberland, 32, Van Buren: Operating while license suspended or revoked, filed with unspecified costs.

Ray R. Pelletier, 62, Madawaska: possessing fish in violation, $120 fine.

Keith D. Sperrey, 52, Presque Isle: Possessing fish in violation, $120 fine.

Allen S. Branscombe, 65, Madawaska: Placing camera or equipment on private property, $200 fine.

Daniel J. Jalbert, 61, Possessing fish in violation $120 fine.
