Fort Kent police investigating theft of pick-up truck from Main Street parking lot

FORT KENT, Maine — Fort Kent police are investigating the theft of a pick-up truck from a Main Street parking lot early Tuesday morning.

The theft occurred around 5:30 a.m from M&M Service Station.

Someone drove off in a dark blue 2005 Ford F-250 single cab with a black ladder rack and no tailgate.

A man captured on surveillance cameras in the area was seen operating a light blue pedal bike with a basket on the rack before allegedly taking the vehicle.

As of Tuesday morning, Fort Kent Police Chief Michael DeLena said police have developed several leads but the vehicle had not yet been recovered.
