St. John Valley weather for May 11-17, 2020

3-Day Outlook: Wednesday – Friday

High pressure will remain across the region today through Thursday morning. A weak cold front will drop into the region tonight into Thursday bringing increased cloudiness to the region Thursday afternoon along with a slight chance for isolated showers Thursday night and Friday.

Today & Tonight 

Mostly sunny with a high around 80 degrees. South wind 5-6 mph in the morning becoming southwest wind 8-9 mph in the afternoon.

Tonight, partly cloudy in the evening then mostly clear overnight with a low near 49 degrees. South-southwest wind 3-4 mph in the evening becoming northwest 3-4 mph overnight.

Thursday, May 12

Mostly sunny high around 79 degrees. Northwest wind 5-6 mph. 

Thursday night, partly cloudy with a low near 54 degrees. 5 percent chance for isolated showers. South wind near calm. 

Friday, May 13

Partly sunny with a 10 percent chance for isolated showers. High around 83 degrees. South-southwest wind 5-8 mph becoming west at 8 mph in the afternoon.

Friday night, partly cloudy with 5 percent chance for isolated showers. Low near 60 degrees. West-northwest wind 4-6 mph.

4 to 7 Day Outlook: Saturday – Tuesday

Large upper-level ridge of high pressure will remain across the region through Saturday lifting daytime temperatures into the lower-to-mid-80s. An upper-level trough shifts towards the Great Lakes from western Canada Saturday into Sunday with a surface cold front tracking east towards the Valley from the Great Lakes. Scattered showers (and possibly isolated thunderstorms) overspread the Valley Sunday morning and continue through Tuesday as the cold front approaches and moves through later Monday. Low pressure to the northwest keeps showers over the Valley Tuesday. 

Saturday, May 14

Partly cloudy with a 10 percent chance for isolated showers. High around 85 degrees. Northwest wind 5-7 mph.

Saturday night, partly cloudy with a 40 percent chance for scattered showers. Low near 56 degrees. Southeast wind 4-5 mph.

Sunday, May 15

Mostly cloudy with a 60 percent chance for showers. High around 73 degrees. Southeast wind 6-8 mph.

Sunday night, mostly cloudy with a 50 percent chance for scattered showers. Low near 54 degrees. Southeast wind 5-6 mph.

Monday, May 16

Mostly cloudy with a 50 percent chance for scattered showers. High around 68 degrees. Southeast wind 6-8 mph.

Monday night, mostly cloudy with a 50 percent chance for scattered showers. Low near 51 degrees. Southeast wind at 6 mph.

Tuesday, May 17

Partly sunny with a 50 percent chance for scattered showers. High around 65 degrees. Southwest wind 8-10 mph.

Tuesday night, mostly cloudy with a 30 percent chance for scattered showers. Low near 45 degrees. Northwest wind 5-7 mph.
