St. John Valley weather for Oct. 20-26, 2021

Three-Day Outlook: Wednesday-Friday

An upper-level low that has been bringing clouds and showers to the region will move east into the Maritimes today and tonight. High pressure will build in tonight into Thursday morning followed by a warm front Thursday night, which will spread showers across the SJV. Showers continue into Friday as a cold front moves through. Clouds thin behind the front Friday night with lingering showers tapering off by early Saturday.

Today and Tonight

Mostly cloudy with a 30 percent chance for showers. High around 52 degrees with northwest winds 3-6 mph.

Tonight, partly cloudy with a 10 percent chance for precipitation. Low near 38 degrees with west winds 2-3 mph. 

Thursday, Oct. 21

Partly sunny in the morning then increasing clouds in the afternoon with a 50 percent chance for afternoon showers. Rainfall totals less than 0.10 inch. High near 55 degrees with west winds near 2 mph becoming southeast at 4 mph.

Thursday night, cloudy with a low near 41 degrees. 80 percent chance for showers with between 0.10 and 0.25 inch expected. Patchy fog possible overnight. Southeast winds at 6 mph.

Friday, Oct. 22

Mostly cloudy in the morning with decreasing clouds in the afternoon. 70 percent chance for precipitation with between 0.01 and 0.09-inch rainfall expected. High around 58 degrees with south-southwest winds 5-10 mph in the morning becoming west-northwest 4-6 mph in the afternoon.

Friday night, partly cloudy with a 20 percent chance for precipitation. Low near 34 degrees with northwest winds 0-7 mph.

Days 4 to 7: Saturday – Tuesday

High pressure is expected to build in Saturday with partly cloudy to partly sunny skies with a slight chance for some showers. A weak trough drops down from the north Sunday with a chance for showers mixing with some snow showers from the morning into the afternoon. High pressure will build across the Valley Monday and Tuesday with partly cloudy skies and mostly dry and cool conditions.

Saturday, Oct. 23

Partly cloudy early then partly sunny with a high around 49 degrees. 10 percent chance for showers. Northwest winds 0-7 mph.

Saturday night, partly cloudy with a 20 percent chance for showers mixing with snow showers after midnight. Low near 32 degrees. Northwest winds 0-7 mph.

Sunday, Oct. 24

Partly sunny with a 20 percent chance for rain showers mixing with snow showers. High near 47 degrees with northwest winds 8-14 mph.

Sunday night, mostly cloudy with a 20 percent chance for rain showers. Low near 33 degrees with northwest winds 0-7 mph.

Monday, Oct. 25

Partly cloudy with a 10 percent chance for precipitation. High around 47 degrees with northwest winds 8-14 mph.

Monday night, partly cloudy with a 10 percent chance for precipitation. Low near 31 degrees with northwest winds 0-7 mph.

Tuesday, Oct. 26

Partly cloudy with a 10 percent chance for precipitation. High around 50 degrees with northwest winds 0-7 mph.
