St. John Valley weather for Oct. 13-19, 2021

Three-Day Outlook: Wednesday – Friday

The upper ridge of high pressure that produced the recent mild weather for the SJV will move east today while a weak backdoor cold front approaches. Partly cloudy skies are expected today and tonight along with a slight chance for showers beginning late this afternoon and continuing into early Thursday as the trough moves through. 

Weak high pressure builds in from the north/northeast Thursday into Friday with partly sunny skies. A cold front approaches Friday with mostly cloudy skies and a slight chance for showers Friday.

Today & Tonight 

Partly sunny in the morning then partly cloudy i the afternoon with a 30 percent chance for afternoon showers. Less than 0.10-inch expected. High around 75 degrees with west winds around 2 mph.

Tonight, partly cloudy with a 20 percent chance for showers. Patchy fog possible. Low near 51 degrees with southwest winds 2-4 mph. 

Thursday, Oct. 14

Partly sunny with a 20 percent chance for showers. High near 67 degrees with north winds at 5 mph.

Thursday night, partly cloudy early then becoming mostly cloudy with a 10 percent chance for showers. Patchy fog possible. Low near 50 degrees with northwest winds near calm.

Friday, Oct. 15

Mostly cloudy with a 20 percent chance for showers. High around 65 degrees with south winds 3-5 mph.

Friday night, mostly cloudy. 20 percent chance for showers. Low around 52 degrees with south winds 0-7 mph.

Days 4 to 7: Saturday – Tuesday

A cold front moves through Saturday into Sunday with showers likely Saturday afternoon continuing into Sunday morning with a chance for showers Sunday afternoon. The front moves east Monday with a continuing chance for showers, mainly in the afternoon, before tapering off in the evening.High pressure builds in Tuesday with partly cloudy skies developing.

Saturday, Oct. 16

Mostly cloudy with a 90 percent chance for mainly afternoon showers. High near 62 degrees with southeast winds 0-7 mph.

Saturday night, mostly cloudy with an 80 percent chance for showers. Low near 50 degrees with south winds 0-7 mph.

Sunday, Oct. 17

Mostly cloudy early then becoming partly sunny with a 40 percent chance for showers, especially in the morning. High near 60 degrees with west winds 8-14 mph.

Sunday night, partly cloudy with a 20 percent chance for showers. Low near 41 degrees with west winds 0-7 mph.

Monday, Oct. 18

Partly sunny with a 30 percent chance for mainly afternoon showers. High near 53 degrees with west winds 8-14 mph.

Monday night, party cloudy with a 20 percent chance for showers. Low near 37 degrees with west winds 0-7 mph.

Tuesday, Oct. 19

Partly sunny with a 10 percent chance for showers. High near 52 degrees with west winds 0-7 mph.

Tuesday night, partly cloudy with a 5 percent chance for precipitation. Low near 38 degrees with west winds 0-7 mph.
