Madawaska selectmen to meet Oct. 12

MADAWASKA, Maine — Madawaska Board of Selectmen Meeting to Be Held at The Madawaska Town Office Board Chambers, October 12, 5:30 p.m. 


Board of Selectmen Chairman Richard Dionne will call the meeting to order and establish a quorum. 

Pledge of Allegiance. Public Participation. 

This portion of the meeting is to allow the public to inform the Board regarding their concerns. Public Participation is limited to ten minutes, of which two minutes will be allotted individually. Please be advised that individuals addressing concerns will be placed on the Board’s next regular meeting agenda unless the issue addressed is one of an emergency nature. The Chairperson or Acting Chairperson will use his/her discretion as to whether action on any particular issue should be taken at this meeting. Items regarding personnel issues or town employees cannot be discussed in open session.

To Consider a Request by the Fire Chief for a change-Order to the New Fire-truck on order with Autotronics 

Article 5 

To Consider a Policy Proposal for the Fire Dept to Enable Fire Department Call Billings to Insurance Companies. 

Article 6 

To Consider a Request by the Public Works and Pollution Control Director to Repair a Sagging Sewer Line on 22nd Avenue. 

Article 7 

To Consider the Re-visit of Article 14, of the September 13 Board of Selectmen Meeting Concerning Consolidated Communications Ethernet Carrier Services, 

Article 8 

To Consider a Special Town Meeting Warrant for the Consideration of an Opt-in Opportunity to MainePERS for Eligible Town Employees. 

Article 9 

To Consider Board Authorization for the Town Manager, and Alternate Designee to Approve Liquor License Renewal Applications, Catering Permit Applications, BYOB Permit Applications, and Extension of Premise Applications for Existing Current Liquor Licenses Businesses.

To Consider Designation of the Town Manager / Treasurer to Execute Quit-Claim Deeds for Property Tax & Sewer Lien Foreclosed Properties.
