Short-Term Outlook: Wednesday – Friday
High pressure over western Québec will build into the Valley today and center over the region tonight. The ridge will move east of the region tomorrow with a low pressure area approaching from the west with a cold front.
This system will move across the SJV Thursday night into Friday with rain likely along with a slight chance for isolated thunderstorms Friday afternoon. Rain tapers to showers behind the front Friday night.

Mostly sunny to partly cloudy with high around 68 degrees. Northwest winds 5-10 mph.
Tonight, mostly clear with a low near 43 degrees with west-southwest winds 0-5 mph. Some patchy fog possible after midnight.

Friday night, partly cloudy with a 50 percent chance for showers. Rainfall totals less than 0.10-inch expected. Low near 50 degrees with northwest winds 5-10 mph.
Medium-Range Outlook: Saturday – Tuesday
An upper-level trough will keep a chance for scattered showers across the Valley Saturday. A cold front approaches Sunday with a chance for more widespread showers across the area. Large ridge of high pressure over the West will keep a persistent trough over the East with a chance for showers continuing Monday and Tuesday.
