Madawaska selectmen to meet Tuesday

MADAWASKA, Maine — The Madawaska Board of Selectmen will meet at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 25, at the Madawaska Safety Complex.

Board of Selectmen Chairman Doug Cyr will call the meeting to order and establish a quorum.

Public Participation. 

This portion of the meeting is to allow the public to inform the Board regarding their concerns. Please be advised that individuals addressing concerns will be placed on the Board’s next regular meeting agenda unless the issue addressed is one of an emergency nature. The Chairperson or Acting Chairperson will use his/her discretion as to whether action on any particular issue should be taken at this meeting. Items regarding personnel issues or town employees cannot be discussed in open session.

Article 4 To Consider a Catering Permit Application for Big Rick’s Burgers & Wings @ 100 Chapel Road, Birch Point Beach. 

Article 5 To Consider a Liquor License Renewal for the inn of Acadia @ 384 St. Thomas Street. 

Article 6 To Consider the Renewal of an Office Copier Maintenance Agreement. 

Article 7 To Consider the Renewal of a Fire Protection Interlocal Cooperation Agreement with the County of Aroostook. 

Article 8 To Consider the Allagash Wilderness Waterway Canoe Camp Proposal. 

Article 9 To Consider a Request by the Barstool Sports Podcast / Kirk Minihane to rename a street or local park in his name. 

Article 10 To Consider Authorization of the Planning Board to Process Building Permits Until a New Code Enforcement Officer has been Appointed. 

Article 11 To Consider a Municipal Public Buildings Policy “Presumed to be Vaccinated” for persons entering Municipal Buildings.
