Blocking ridges of high pressure to the west and to the east in the North Atlantic will keep a fairly static weather-pattern in place through early next week. Plenty of clouds are expected Friday and Saturday as maritime air, circulating around an upper-level low near the Maritimes, continues to be channeled into the region. Partly sunny skies are expected to develop Sunday with partly cloudy skies Monday into Tuesday as high pressure builds in from the west with mostly dry conditions expected for the period.
