Fort Kent police seek information regarding tool thefts

FORT KENT, Maine — Fort Kent police are investigating multiple tool thefts that took place at a trucking company in the town last week.

Sometime between the late evening of Wednesday, Dec. 23, and early morning of Saturday, Dec. 26, one or more people stole thousands of dollars worth of power tools and batteries from tractor trailers parked outside of Northern Timber Trucking, according to Fort Kent police Chief Tom Pelletier.

Among the items stolen from the parking lot of the Market Street business were Milwaukee brand power tools including drills, grinders, grease guns and impact wrenches. 

Anyone with information about the thefts is asked to call the Fort Kent Police Department at 207-834-5678.
