Police seek owner of giant wooden bear found on Fort Kent lawn
FORT KENT, Maine — Fort Kent police are seeking information about a wooden bear statue found on a lawn in town on Saturday, Nov. 28.
Residents of a Highland Avenue home awoke to find the wooden bear on their property on Saturday morning.
The residents called police to report the unusual find and transported the bear to the police department.
The bear is approximately 6 feet tall and was possibly carved using a chainsaw.
Anyone with information about the bear should call the Fort Kent Police Department at 207-834-5678.
