Van Buren boys roll over Washburn 10-0 in boys soccer

VAN BUREN, Maine — The Van Buren District School Crusaders boys varsity soccer team dominated Washburn with a 10-0 shutout on Monday in Van Buren. 

The game marked the varsity soccer season opener for both teams. 

In Van Buren, junior Gabriel Morales scored six goals, freshman Sam Hebert scored two goals as well as registered three assists, and Noah Martin pitched in another two goals.

Henry Hebert and Blake Martin each registered two assists, and Emmanuel Deschaine had one assist for the Crusaders. 

Goalie Kobe Searles helped earn the shutout for the Crusaders defending two shots on goal.
