PAWS pet of the week – Lotus and Nugget

PAWS presents Lotus and Nugget. Lotus, a 1-1/2-year-old, blue-eyed Siamese, and 5-year-old Nugget are a bonded pair and want to be adopted together. Nugget was seen out on the street for awhile before being brought into the shelter.

She was someone’s pet at one point because she had been spayed. She didn’t trust humans and volunteers worked many hours with her to gain her trust. Lotus also came in very cautious, but has made lots of progress. PAWS staff aren’t sure if they will be lap cats, do know someone special is out there that could show these two what a real home can be like.
