88-year-old injured in St. Agatha ATV rollover
ST. AGATHA, Maine — An 88 year old man was taken to the hospital Monday evening after his ATV was struck by a car and rolled over in St. Agatha.
Richard Bourgoin of Madawaska was driving a 2003 Yamaha Kodiak ATV pulling a small single axle trailer shortly after 6:30 p.m.
Bourgoin entered the roadway on Main Street when the ATV was struck by a southbound 2008 Chrysler Town and Country car driven by Gerald Guerrette of St. Agatha.
The crash caused the ATV to enter the northbound lane where it rolled over, throwing Bourgoin from the machine. Madawaska EMS took Bourgoin to Northern Maine Medical Center for injuries that were not considered life-threatening.
Maine State Police Trooper Ted Martin investigated the accident and determined that neither alcohol, nor speed were factors.
