Recycling in Edmundston will return on July 13
EDMUNDSTON, New Brunswick — The Northwest Regional Service Commission (NWRSC) confirms that recyclable collections will resume in July 2020, following the announcement of the reopening of l’Atelier des Copains regional sorting centre.
Citizens of Edmundston are invited to kickstart their good recycling habits as of July 13th.
Items accepted in the blue bin must bear the recycling logo, must be clean and not in bags. Here is the list of recyclables accepted in the blue bin:
- Plastic
- Paper and cardboard
- Tin cans
- Refundables
- Milk and juice cartons
The collection of garbage and recyclable materials therefore returns to the regular schedule. As usual, for the summer season, the regular garbage bin will be emptied every week and the recycling bin will be emptied every two weeks.
On the week of July 13th, when collections resume, the two bins can be put on the side of the road.
