Camera-friendly deer pose for photo in Allagash

ALLAGASH, Maine — A group of deer in Allagash appeared to take a break from basking in the sun atop some northern Maine snow with the sole intention of posing for a photo op on Sunday.

Joey Ouellette of Fort Kent captured the photo while out for a scenic nature drive with his wife Andrea and the couple’s two children.

“We wanted to get out of the house and still be safe so we decided to go to Allagash to look for deer. There were tons of deer out, so it was great for us to have a change of scenery,” Ouellette said.

The family remained in their car while watching the deer.

“They are wicked cute,” Ouellette said.
