Sibley and Paradis receive Aroostook League scholarships
FORT KENT, Maine — Fort Kent Community High School seniors Riley Sibley and Eden Paradis were among 10 students who won college scholarships at the Aroostook League Scholar-Athlete Banquet on Thursday, March 12, in Caribou.
The students were recognized at the banquet for their academic and athletic success throughout high-school.
The $400 scholarships are payable after each student completes their first semester of college.
Sibley will attend the University of Maine at Fort Kent where she plans to study nursing, and Paradis will attend Husson University where he plans to study business management and marketing.
Riley Sibley is the daughter of Gary and Shondelle Sibley, and Kelly and John Naranja.
Eden Paradis is the son of Denis and Suzie Paradis.
