Fish River Rural Health broadens scope to include schools
ST. JOHN VALLEY, Maine — Fish River Rural Health has announced it will offer school-based health services in St. John Valley schools.
Licensed Clinical Social Worker Kristin Theriault joined Fish River Rural Health’s interdisciplinary health care team to expand services to local school settings.
In addition, a mobile unit is currently being built to further expand school-based health and will have the ability to provide multiple healthcare services at a time for students attending St. John Valley schools, said Fish River Rural Health officials.
Officials said school-based health services are currently being provided at the following St. John Valley schools: Dr. Levesque Elementary School in Frenchville, Madawaska Elementary School and Van Buren District School.
