Madawaska Selectmen to meet Jan. 13, 2020

MADAWASKA, Maine — The Madawaska Board of Selectmen will meet ay 6:30 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 13, in the town council chambers.


Chairman Don Chasse will call the meeting to order and establish a quorum.

Article 3 – To Consider Other Business and Adjustments to the Agenda. 

Article 4 – To Consider the Treasurers Warrants. 

Article 5 – To Consider the Board of Selectmen Meeting Minutes of December 12, 2019. 

Article 6 – To Consider a Sewer Abatement Request for Account # 158. 

Article 7 – To Consider a Property Tax Abatement Request for Account # 2606. 

Article 8 – To Consider Board Appointments for Vacancies on the Finance Committee. 

Article 9 – To Consider one Board Appointment to the Northern Aroostook Airport Authority. 

Article 10 – To Consider one Board of Selectmen to be Appointed to the Madawaska Public Library. 

Article 11 – To Consider Discussion Regarding Vacancies on thTo Consider a Request by the Madawaska Police Association (MPA) to Abolish the MPA and Join the New England Benevolent Police Association

Article 13 – To Consider the Draft Town of Madawaska Communications & Social Media Policy. 

Article 14 – To Consider 2019-2020 Year-to-Date Town Financials.
