PAWS pet of the week – William and Solstice

PAWS Animal Welfare Shelter presents William and Solstice as Pets of the Week. William Puck and Solstice have been at the shelter for a year. Both are former ferals who have made a great deal of progress. They still prefer the company of other cats to humans, but Solstice is looking more and more like she might enjoy some human affection as well. William Puck enjoys playing “with” humans if they use a fishing-pole-style toy. Though originally bonded, they have befriended other shelter residents so PAWS is no longer requiring they be adopted together. However, there should be at least one other cat in the home. Solstice is spayed and William is neutered. Both are up-to-date on their vaccinations and cleared of any parasites. FMI: Visit Valley Cat Haven 11-1 Saturday or 1-3 Tuesday, or call 207-543-7348.
