Business is ‘good, good, good’ as S.W. Collins expands storage
FORT KENT. Maine — A giant structure towering over S.W. Collins in Fort Kent is exactly what people likely guessed it to be — a storage unit for the lumber and hardware store.
“We needed better storage and better access to our lumber,” said S.W. Collins Fort Kent manager Travis Levesque.
The rack system storage unit is approximately 50 feet by 110 feet, Levesque said, and
Northwoods Construction of Fort Kent has been tasked with putting it together.
The storage rack is nearing completion but a recent snowstorm has delayed construction on the project for at least a few days.
S.W. Collins will continue to maintain its storage buildings behind Meadow Lane as well.
Levesque said business at the Fort Kent branch of S.W. Collins is “good, good, good.”
