Record participation in ‘Let’s Talk Science’ at UMCE

EDMUNDSTON, New Brunswick — The interest in science among youth continues to grow as evidenced by the record participation of 69 students from the sixth school year at Our Lady of Edmundston, who came to the University of Moncton, Edmundston campus, as part of the activity “Let’s Talk Science” on Wednesday, October 30th.

Accompanied by three teachers of their school, the students could become more familiar with scientific concepts by presenting demonstrations and interaction in biological laboratories, chemistry and physics at the campus.

Members of the faculty and the Science Sector staff managed to capture the attention of young people at the workshops. The dean of studies at UMCE, Pierrette Fortin, came to welcome the many students.
