St. John Valley weather for Oct. 9-15, 2019

ST. JOHN VALLEY, Maine — Chilly temperatures and some river fog are found across the Valley this Wednesday morning.

Fog will dissipate as the morning progresses with 1032-millibar ridge of high pressure centered over the Allagash/North Woods this morning bringing mostly clear to clear skies across the area today and tonight. Skies become partly cloudy Thursday as a low pressure area situated off the Middle Atlantic coast drifts north/northeastward through the end of the week. However, no major impact on the Valley’s weather is anticipated from this system. A cold front associated with a low-pressure system over the Great Lakes slowly approaches the Valley with a chance for showers Saturday afternoon through early Monday. High pressure brings decreased clouds Monday before another low pressure system approaches Tuesday with increasing chances for showers by the afternoon.
