Acadia Federal Credit Union promotes loan officer

MADAWASKA, Maine — Acadia Federal Credit Union has announced that Nancy Daigle has accepted the position of loan officer for their Madawaska branch.

Among Daigle’s duties will be to assist members with their consumer lending needs, while viewing, analyzing and approving both consumer and real estate loans.

“I so enjoy working with the public,” said Daigle. “I am excited to respectfully serve our members by offering guidance and solutions to help them achieve their financial goals.”

Daigle has six years of experience with Acadia FCU and 30 years of varied financial institution experience throughout Connecticut, Florida, Maine and Canada.

“Nancy is a welcome addition to our lending team,” said Michele Martin, vice president of lending for Acadia FCU. “With a third lender in our Madawaska branch, we can better serve our membership’s borrowing needs.”

A native of Edmundston, New Brunswick, Daigle shares her St. Jacques, New Brunswick, home with her husband, John. She enjoys nature, being outdoors, watercraft and ATV riding, entertaining family and friends, traveling, camping, and has been an avid coin collector since the age of 12.

Daigle is currently undergoing in-depth training and will be ready to assist members in mid-to-late October.
