Campus to welcome aboriginal speaker Oct. 2

EDMUNDSTON, New Brunswick — The Sector Arts and Letters of the University of Moncton, Edmundston Campus (UMCE) will host Mrs. Robin White, Aboriginal independent speaker, on Wednesday, 2 October.

 

She will deliver a lecture in English entitled “Personal journey from Toronto to London, UK.” The activity for the benefit of the entire public, will be presented in the agora of APPUMCE, located on the 4th floor of the Campus.

Robin White has studied classical animation at Sheridan College and has worked for many years in Canada, the United States and Europe on animated films, while writing and making of literature about the First Nations. In addition, she has given papers at conferences in England, Canada and the United States, specifically the Native American Literary Symposium in New Mexico and Minneapolis.
