St. John Valley weather for Aug. 7-13, 2019

An upper-level trough of low pressure will approach today producing increasing clouds and chances for precipitation. Showers will continue tonight as low pressure over upstate New York/southern Ontario moves northeast towards the Valley tonight and Thursday. A cold front will slide eastwards through Québec Thursday into Friday and cross the Valley with showers and afternoon/evening thunderstorms Thursday into Thursday night.

Showers will continue into Friday as the cold front moves through then heads east of the region. An upper-level low over the region will keep showery weather on tap, mainly in the afternoon, both Saturday and Sunday under partly cloudy/sunny skies. A cold front will approach Monday with increased chances for showers. The cold front will move through Monday night with a slight chance for showers under partly cloudy skies expected Tuesday.
