Madawaska selectmen to meet on July 22, 2019

MADAWASKA, Maine — The next Madawaska Board of Selectmen meeting will be held at 4:15 p.m. on Monday, July 22, 2019, at the town office council chambers.


Chairman Don Chasse will call the meeting to order and establish a quorum. 

Article 1: Pledge of Allegiance. 

Article 2: To Consider Other Business and Adjustments to the Agenda. 

Article 3: To Consider the Treasurers Warrants. 

Article 4: To Consider the Board of Selectmen Meeting Minutes of June 24, 2019.. 

Article 5: To Consider a period of Public Participation. 

Article 6: To Consider a letter of Resignation by Board of Selectmen Member, Danielle Levesque Campbell. 

Article 7: To Consider Two (2) Planning Board Vacancies, one (1) Three-year Term, one (1) Expiring in 2021. 

Article 8: To Consider Two (2) Board of Appeals Vacancies, one (1) Expiring in 2021, One (1) Expiring in 2022. 

Article 9: Committee Reports, NARAA & VRF. 

Article 10: To Consider the Renewal of the Madawaska / Eagle Lake Code Enforcement Officer Interlocal Agreement (annual). 

Article 11: To Consider the Renewal of the Madawaska / Grand Isle Code Enforcement Officer Interlocal Agreement (annual). 

Article 12: To Consider a Recommendation by the Police Dept. for Two (2) Street Light Requests. 

Article 13: To Consider a Proposal from Annette Daigle, Owner of a Parking Lot behind the Town Office, to Purchase the Property. Parking Lot Property Currently Subject to a 2-year Parking Lot Agreement. 

Article 14: To Discuss Options for Protecting Ash Trees in Dionne Park form the Invasive Emerald Ash Borer. 

Article 15: Manager’s Report. 

Article 16: To Consider Consultations with Legal Counsel, Executive Session Recommended: 1 M.R.S.A $ 405 (6)(E).
