UMCE nursing students visit annual meeting

EDMUNDSTON, New Brunswick — Four third-year students of the Bachelor of Nursing from the University of Moncton, Edmundston campus, accompanied by members of the Nursing Science Sector staff at the institution, took part in the annual general meeting of Association of Nurses of New Brunswick (NANB) held in Fredericton on June 5.

Student participation was made possible through the support program for the achievement of student initiatives (BETS) at the Edmundston campus.

Students were able to represent their fellow students to voice their concerns about the national entrance examination to the profession NCLEX (National Council Licensure Examination) adopted in 2015 by the province and the mixed success rate continues to generate strong reactions.
