St. Louis-Maillet Foundation prepares for 25th fundraising golf tournament

EDMUNDSTON, New Brunswick — To be ready for the Saint-Louis-Maillet Foundation’s 25th benefit golf tournament, the organizing committee decided to give it a face through the development of a logo, designed by Pierre Ouellette, an employee of the University of Moncton, Edmundston campus.

The new visual identity combines the tournament and its partner, the Blizzard of Edmundston.

The golfers will meet at the next annual classic at 11 a.m., Saturday, September 7, at Fraser Edmundston Golf Club.

To mark the 25th anniversary of the tournament, the committee will launch an invitation to the first volunteers who opened the business in 1995. A recognition evening will be held Friday, September 6.

As in the last two years, the players of the Blizzard, the junior hockey team, will be paired with golfers.

The collaboration of Saint-Louis-Maillet Foundation and Blizzard is a winning formula that has improved the quality of this tournament already, and will offer participants an unparalleled experience.
