Gerard Ouellette (1943—2018)

ST. DAVID, Maine — Gerard Ouellette, 74, passed away on June 5, 2018, at his residence. He was born in St. David on July 24, 1943, son of the late Ulric and Antoinette (Dufour) Ouellette.

He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and being outdoors. He will always be remembered for having a big heart and always willing to help anyone in need. Gerard owned and operated Rocky Beach Farms until his retirement.

Gerard is survived by his loving wife, Adrienne of 52 years; one son, Gary Ouellette of Frenchville; one granddaughter, Samiah Ouellette of Connecticut; five siblings, Ronald Ouellette and his wife, Joan, of St. David, Riola Morin of St. David, Theresa Morin and her husband, Mauril, of Connecticut, Joel Ouellette and his wife, Ginette, of St. David, and Gerald Ouellette and his wife, Grace, of Madawaska; as well as many nieces and nephews. Gerard was predeceased by one sister, Bernice Lapointe; and two brothers-in-law, Bernard Lapointe and Adrien Morin.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held at 10 a.m. on Monday, June 11, 2018, at the St. Thomas Church in Madawaska. Family and Friends called at Lajoie Funeral Home in Madawaska from 6-8 p.m. on Sunday, June 10, and from 9-9:45 a.m. on Monday, June 11, 2018, the morning before the service.
