Lucille Blanchette (1943-2018)

BRISTOL, CT, AND VAN BUREN, Maine – Lucille Blanchette, 75, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 27, 2018, at a Caribou hospital. She was born on February 19, 1943, in New Britain, CT, a daughter of the late Salvatore and Mary (Boscarino) Aparo.
Lucille last worked as an underwriter for Aetna Insurance, Hartford, for many years and previously as an LPN for several doctors and hospitals in Bristol, CT. She and her husband relocated to Van Buren in 2015 to be closer to their beloved granddaughter, Nicole. She enjoyed playing on her computer and loved hour long drives “around the block.” She adored her children, step-children, and loved to spoil her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Francis “Tony” Blanchette of Van Buren; seven children, Steven Blanchette of Oakland, Tony Blanchette Jr. of Bristol, CT, Kenneth Blanchette and his wife, Debbie, of Terryville, CT, Randy Blanchette of Bristol, CT, Jennifer Moser and her husband, Mike, of Newcastle, CO, Tricia Sibley and her husband, John, of Bayfield, CO, and Cheryl Castonguay and her husband, Scott, of Van Buren; 12 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Paul Aparo and his wife, Linda, and Francis Aparo and his wife, Shirley, all of Bristol, CT; and many nieces and nephews.
