High pressure will move east of the Valley today as a warm front lifts across the region. A cold front will approach from the northwest with showers expected tonight through Wednesday morning.
High pressure near James Bay will build into the Valley Wednesday night and Thursday. Clouds increase Thursday night as a warm front moves east from Quebec with a chance for showers overnight into Friday morning. Skies will be partly sunny Friday with a chance for showers Friday night as a cold front moves through.
High pressure in Canada builds into the Valley Saturday with skies becoming partly cloudy. High pressure remains in control of the area’s weather through Tuesday. A cold front approaches Tuesday producing increased cloudiness and a chance for showers.
Wednesday, May 23: High: 54. Low: 31. Day: Cloudy in the morning with a 70 percent chance for showers with between one-tenth and one-quarter inch possible. Clearing skies in the afternoon. North winds 5 to 10 mph. Night: partly cloudy early then mostly clear after midnight. North winds around 5 mph becoming northwest after midnight and falling to near calm.
