Jerry Daigle (1958—2018)

MADAWASKA and PIN-ELLAS PARK, Florida — Jerry Daigle, 59, on March 4, 2018, passed away suddenly from complications due to Pneumonia and Sepsis Shock at the V.A. Hospital in St. Petersburg, Florida. He had won his battle over Bladder Cancer and was Cancer free. He was born in Fort Kent, Maine on March 25, 1958, son of Conrad and Una (Theriault) Daigle.

After high school he served in the U.S. Army stationed in Germany, where he lived and had his precious daughter, Jennifer Daigle, whom, along with her husband, Marcus, live in Germany, and gave him his total pride and joy of four beautiful grandchildren with another one due March 15, 2018. Jerry returned to Madawaska, Maine in 1999, after the death of his father to fulfill a promise to take care of his mother. Together they enjoyed traveling to Florida every fall, where he became the resident handyman. His love and passion to build and fix things became his way of life to the end.

Aside from his daughter, Jennifer, he is survived by his mother, Una; two brothers, Allen and Andrew; sisters, Lynda, Judy, Kate, Louise, Lisa; and over 40 nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.  He was predeceased by a brother, Danny.

A memorial service will be held March 17, 2018, in Pinellas Park, Florida. Later this summer, a Mass of Christian Burial, followed by Burial, will be held at Maine Veterans Cemetery in Caribou.
