Louella (Marin) Nadeau (1957—2017)

EAGLE LAKE, Maine — Louella (Marin) Nadeau, 60, died peacefully with family by her side at her residence in Eagle Lake on February 11, 2018. She was born in Eagle Lake on December 23, 1957, the daughter of Paul and Lucienne (LeBoeuf) Marin.

Louella loved walking, boating, and especially gardening.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 43 years, Philip Nadeau of Eagle Lake; five children, Scott and wife, Jamie Nadeau, of Bristol, CT, Christopher and wife, Brittany Nadeau, of Eagle Lake, Jon and wife, Loni Nadeau, of Fort Kent, Robby and wife, Stephanie Nadeau, of Fort Kent, and Betsy Nadeau of Eagle Lake; six grandchildren, Ivy, Dawson, Chandler, Briana, Charlotte, and Abram; and special granddaughter, Emily, and special niece, Beth Marin; one sister-in-law, Elaine Marin; brothers and sisters, Lucille and husband, Roger Theriault, Pauline and husband, Ed Dube, Paul and wife, Sylvia Marin, Pat and husband, Jim Rioux, and Peter Marin. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Louella will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by one brother, Lou Marin in 2003.

Friends may call on Thursday, February 15, 2018, from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Friday, February 16, from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at the Lajoie-Daigle Funeral Home, Fort Kent. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. on Friday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Eagle Lake. Spring burial will be held in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Wallagrass. Those who wish in Louella’s memory may donate to the Alzheimer’s Association, 383 US Route One, Suite 2C, Scarborough, ME 04074. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
