Raymond Martin (1942—2018)

ST. DAVID, Maine — Raymond Martin, 75, passed away on February 4, 2018, in Bangor. He was born in St. David on May 26, 1942, son of the late Alcide and Josephine (Currier) Martin.

He is survived by his loving wife of fifty-five years, Rina (Boucher) Martin of St. David; five children, Odette Dionne and her husband, Ken, of St. David, Pauline Martin of New Hampshire, Stella Collin and her husband, Brian, of Falmouth, Dale Martin and his wife, Francine, of Edmundton, Alberta, and Allen Martin of Madawaska; six grandchildren, Jason, Amy, Holly Dionne, Shanna Sirois, Crystal and Taylor Martin; one great-grandchild, Brandon Dionne; three sisters, Bernice Martin, Noella Gatten, Marilyn Beaupre; and four brothers, Gilman, Richard, Robert Martin, and John Lagasse. Other than his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Bertrand Martin.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Friday, February 9, 2018, at the St. Agatha Church. Family and friends may call at Lajoie Funeral Home in Madawaska from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 8. There will be no visiting hours the morning of the service on Friday.
