ST. AGATHA/FRENCHVILLE– Administrators at Wisdom High School have chosen the 2012 graduation honor parts.
Chantel Bernier, daughter of Dan and Andrea Bernier of Frenchville, is this year’s Valedictorian. Chantel is involved in National Honor Society, soccer, volleyball, yearbook, and Youth Ministry, along with various other activities. Chantel plans to pursue nursing at the University of Maine at Fort Kent. Her hobbies include spending time with friends and family, skiing, reading, attending church events, dancing, and singing.
Chris Ouellette, son of Daniel and Sheila Ouellette of Frenchville, is this year’s Salutatorian. He has participated in varsity soccer and basketball, Math Team, Athletic Club, National Honor Society, Youth Ministry, and has been active in the Aroostook Teen Leadership Camp. Chris plans to attend the University of New England to study Pre-Medical Biology and Athletic Training. His hobbies include spending time with his family and friends, skiing, and listening to music.
Sarah Paradis, daughter of Patrick and Stacy Paradis of Frenchville, is this year's Honor Essayist. She is involved in Skills USA, National Honor Society, HOSA, and many other organizations. While being a part of Skills USA, Sarah won third place in the state of Maine in 2011 for Nurse Assisting, and in 2012 she won first place, which sends her to the National Skills USA conference in Kansas City, Missouri this coming June. Sarah plans to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Science and Nursing at the University of Maine at Fort Kent. Sarah enjoys playing soccer, softball, alpine skiing, and snowboarding.
